Vulnerable Families Research Associate
The Carsey Institute at the University of New Hampshire seeks an analyst to join our vulnerable families research team. The researcher will conduct detailed analyses on areas including child poverty, with a focus on young children, and its long-term consequences; research that examines how children and families have been affected by the economic downturn; how families are assisted by policies developed to address poverty and expand work opportunities; and how individuals balance the competing demands of work and family. The research associate will have strong quantitative and analytic skills, experience working with large data sets, and will bring an interest in understanding poverty, family, and work policy. We are especially interested in rural children and families, but not exclusively so.
