The SMDP-Ghana is an intensive training program, offering critical skills for today’s microfinance and enterprise development leaders. As with our predecessor program, the MDI-Ghana, the Carsey Institute is cosponsoring the program with our partner, the Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network–GHAMFIN. Highlights of the 2010 program include the following:

  • A world-class faculty of some of the best practitioner/trainers in the field.
  • Building the Practice morning reflection sessions.
  • Field visit to Susu Collectors, VSLA groups, and rural banks.
  • Guest speakers will cover the latest on mobile banking, micro-insurance, micro-energy development opportunities, and more.
  • Communities of Practice options to help you continue learning and networking after returning home.
